The birth of a storyteller

While my love for the arts has always been a major facet of my life, motherhood sparked my deep dive into photography. More than anything, I wanted to be the best mother to my children. And I wanted to hold onto those memories forever. The tiny toes, the fingers curled around my own, the way a lock of hair curled just so and caught the light - I wanted to live in these snapshot memories. This is, of course, not at all possible, and motherhood is far from perfection. Yet through the cluttered kitchen, hampers of dirty clothes, and lists of to-dos, I was drawn to the beauty of the everyday and the familial relationships around me. It became my mission to not only capture these moments as I saw them, but also to capture the emotion to savor for years to come. I put everything into becoming the best photographer for myself that I could possibly be. Little by little, I've expanded to doing the same for others as well.

“Elizabeth has been taking pictures of my family for over 5 years. She is fantastic with kids of all ages, incredibly kind, and such a great person to work with. She is a skilled photographer and I’m always so happy with how our pictures come out. I look forward to all of the pictures she will be taking of our family in the future!”
